Pine forest ambiance in spring. Birds (mostly Chaffinch, Serin, Blackbird and Warblers), wind on trees and some falling drops. This sample is very dynamic (for a nature recording), as the Chaffinch was a powerful singer and it was quite clos (other birds sound bewildered, actually). A clean, but not exactly relaxing sample.
Sennheiser MKH30+MKH60 into Shure FP24 and Edirol R09 recorder. Originally recorded at 24 bit, downsampled and mixed to mid-side stereo with Voxengo VST MS plugin. Done near Hinojos, S Spain, around 10:30AM
