autumn

Harsh Jay callings and forest ambiance with many singing birds and buzzing insects. This sample was recorded right below the crown of Pinsapo de las Escaleretas monumental tree, at 1000 m above the sea on Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park (Ronda, S Spain) during an unusually warm autumn. Sennheiser MKH60 + MKH30 into Shure FP24 preamplifier, PCM M10 recorder. Decoded to Mid-side stereo with free Voxengo VST plugin.
