@pelori: Goldwave has transparent, native support for loading/saving FLAC. It's also a great editor, besides. (I don't work for them, just a satisfied customer.)

I love this clip, but it's .flac! I know most people have converters, but that's just going to extra trouble. Most who use sound files (at least that I know of) use .mp3 or .wav, or some such. It is simply more convenient.
