The record was made in the same village, but the singer is from Kamchatka. This folklore music seems to me very similar to some modern ensembles, trying to resurrect the music of ancient Scandinavia (e.g. Wardruna).

This is beautiful! The sound reminds me a little bit of a talharpa (another very old style of fiddle, but from Scandinavia)
