The recording has a particular soft and deep quality to it IMO. It's the small omni mics I was using with the R09HR which seems to have a nicer bottom end. In reality the nest wave recordings come from much lower frequency and larger waves, these are too often and too small :)

I was nearly thinking that I was standing on the beach while listening to this sound with my eyes closed. Frankly, I don't think this is the best quality of wave sound in the world, but it appeals to me much. Don't know why. Maybe out of emotional reason.
