Recording of a Green Catbird (Ailuroedus melanotis Ailuroedus crassirostris) near lake Eacham in Northern Queensland (tropical Australia). The shorter 'pip' sound occasionally heard is a short vocalisation the Catbird makes when it hops up a little in the air and changes the direction it is facing (usually a 180 degree switch). Recording chain: AT3032 microphone pair - Sound Devices MixPre - Edirol R09HR.
