This is a 192 kHz stereo recording of a spanner being dropped onto a concrete floor. Audio Technica AT3032 stereo microphone pair was used to record the sound into an Edirol R44 digital recorder @ 24 bit. The highest harmonic recorded seems to be approximately 45 kHz. PS: ignore the 196 kHz in the file name, I made a mistake, that freesound does not let me correct :P

200000 Hz sample rate is right here https://freesound.org/people/TheRandomSoundByte2637/sounds/614284/

I believe 200000 Hz is the sample rate limit

I was fooling around slowing it as much as 32x in Goldwave, wow amazing harmonics that don't quit!
