The sound of an Australian Magpie (Gymnorhina Tibicen) standing on my front lawn, this sound is known as 'carolling' with a few squawks thrown in at the end (the squawks are a more common magpie sound). In the background you can faintly hear the sound of some 'Noisy Miners' (birds) and Rainbow Lorikeets. This is a classic Australian suburban sound, and one that expatriated Australians miss when overseas for extended periods. I have filtered out low frequencies (unrelated to the bird) from traffic in the background. Recording distance ~ 5 meters. Recording chain: Rode NT4 (stereo mic) – Sound Devices Mix Pre (Pre amp) – Edirol R-09 digital recorder.

I feel like I have struck gold with this birdsong pack. Thank you so much for making them sound so good!
I've been to Australia (as a tourist) and fell in love with this typical magpie sound. Brings me back everytime I hear it.

Hi Digifishmusic
I've downloaded this piece for use in an AV. Please tell me how I should make the attribution - can't find that anywhere

Hi - Thank you very much for providing this sound. I'm not sure if the notification about pre-authorisation before using was there before when I downloaded it.
I have used it as part of a collage in a musical piece called "The Garden of Ediacara" which is listenable and downloadable on SoundCloud here: https://soundcloud.com/ivodne-galatea/the-garden-of-ediacara
I was looking for Australian Magpie songs. Your recording is fully acknowledged
