There is a large cherry tree in the front yard. I have a bird feeder hanging from an old tree. A variety of birds, from sparrows to pigeons, come to the feeder. In between, you can hear the sounds of the air conditioner turning off, the door closing in the next house, the sounds of traffic coming from behind the house.

Love the spring birds in the city.
Sparrows, pigeons and even seagulls fly in my neighborhood but the most beautiful is when the blackbird starts singing at four in the morning :)
