The iconic sound of a 2005 New Flyer D40LF bus arriving at a stop and departing, as heard closest to the engine. This contains only the engine+transmission sound (no tire noise, no chatter, no "Stop Requested", because this was made on a synthesizer program)
These buses were recently retired by Mississauga Transit (MiWay) and had 8.9L Cummins ISL diesel engines with a Voith D864.3E transmission.
