At Kutsher's Country Club -- the supposed inspiration for the film Dirty Dancing and location of the past two US All Tomorrow's Parties -- there sits a dilapidated playground full of rides incapable of passing even the most lax of our current safety standards. These rides are relics of the past. Having been uncared for for quite some years, the rides are even more dangerous, rusted, and noisy.
This recording is of a ride known as a Roundabout -- a sort of merry-go-round suspended from a single ten foot high pole in the center -- spun around slowly.
Enjoy.
At about :40 I tell my friend Matt to "stop that."
