This is the sound of the street and sidewalk outside of my apartment during the spring. The mics were placed in an open window. You can hear pedestrians below chatting and walking. You can also hear cars driving by.
This was recorded on a Sony PCM-A10 using the onboard mics in an XY stereo configuration.
