This is a snippet of Perth's majestic bird life. The birds that feature in this recording are Black Cockatoos, and it was taken at the Kensington Bushland Reserve at dusk. These birds are tribal, have incredible energy, and are extremely communicative, and hearing them squawk is one of my favourite parts of living here.

Thanks for this - I am recording my husband reading a poem by Judith Wright called Black Cockatoo and want to run this just as the poem finishes. Cheers.
