Stereo ambience recording made at Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve, which is a 45 minute drive from Canberra Australia. It's a great location for recording sounds of natural environment without human-made elements, which was the primary intention. A lot of birds, though.
To do the recordings I took a sling bag with a Tascam FR-AV2 and went on a couple of the mellowest walks at Tidbinbilla, first round the Sanctuary loop and then on the Peppermint trail in the Eucalypt Forest. Set the bag down to record at about 15 points for a few minutes each time.
The microphone is a Rode NT4.
First of four recordings.
