Recorded at Mulligan's Flat in Canberra, Australia
Equipment: Rode NT4 stereo microphone and Sound Devices Mixpre 6.
Walked about 4km in to the nature reserve to try to get away from traffic sounds, then cut any parts with obvious human-made sounds from the recordings.
Really all an experiment in - how far do you have to go to get pristine ambience recordings without the intrusion of the human world.
Saw a bunch of echidnas, and roos, with youngsters, hopping through the trees.
