Absolutely brilliant! You contributions to Freesound are amazing, real drum track, loops and fantastic samples!
I've been going through a rough couple of years, my wife has been sick and unable to work. So in short I've had no money to buy commercially made drum tracks and samples.
This has made my quality of life much more bearable, as mucking around playing music and messing with samples is my therapy basically!

I had never been able to find the 'splash' cymbal sound that I had been looking for. Your sound and your description provide the answer: needs to be played with the hand rather than sticks !
