On September 12, 2025, around 8:00 AM EST, I had my morning coffee at Cahill Pier in Oswego, New York.
This is in a small city on Lake Ontario. The waves were calm and you can hear a few sirens, a small plane flying overhead, and a truck entering a warehouse and sounding its horn. Various sirens and alarms, and a few quiet bird sounds.
