Field recording of elevated subway train in Queens. The N and W trains take a sharp turn here, causing the wheels to squeal. Recorded using Tascam DR-1 on 24-bit uncompressed setting. Used roll-off at 40 Hz to save my speakers. I used a windscreen to cut down on wind noise which can otherwise be a problem on this recorder.
