A field recording in Fairchild turned into this little bit of work.
I was recording a wind-to-sound converter from Windtryst Farm Studios.
The neighbor decided to sight in their rifle, and a cymbal was readily had.
So this is today's Fairchild Natural History Society report, catalog number id=15085925
Very lucky day, I think, field-recording Fairchild for the Natural History Society Project.
Enjoy!

Thank you. I was very fortunate with the sequence of events.
Improving with natural ambience. A lot of fun.

Love how this turned into an accidental composition. The mix of the wind converter’s texture with the sudden rifle crack and the cymbal makes it feel like a live sound collage.
