Sound design by Aotu Studios (www.aotustudios.com), recreating a sound submitted by Genaro Sandoval, inspired by the Super Saiyan transformation sound from Dragon Ball. This sound was recreated using the free software synthesizer Vital by Matt Tytel.
This sound is provided via SoundSAT (Sound Design Show-and-Tell), a free community event presented by Aotu Studios and Radian Studios at Synth Library NYC / Hex House in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn. All sounds sourced from this event are original recordings made by the participants or organizers (no uncleared samples). Sounds submitted by participants are specifically intended for upload to FreeSound.org as a CC0 community resource.

Not a lawyer, this was made as part of a free community sound design exercise for educational purposes. It does not sample the original and is synthesized from scratch using Vital. If you’re using it in a commercial project, that’s technically at your own risk. To be safest, you can modify it so it’s not too similar, and avoid naming or marketing it with anything Dragon Ball-related.
