The recording is part of the SoundActions dataset, recorded in 2022. A sound action results from an interaction between sounding objects, perceived as a holistic, multimodal "chunk". For a year, I recorded one sound action daily, with audio and video. The audio files are posted in PCM quality here, and the video recordings are available on OSF. The project was inspired by the release of my book Sound Actions: Conceptualizing Musical instruments (Jensenius 2022).
The recordings were done in 16-bit, 48KHz with a Røde VideoMic Me-C on a Samsung S21 mobile phone.
