I managed to get downstairs and outside with my recorder in time for the final showdown. (Uploaded one mono channel only, as the side nearer the cat overloaded!)

I have this very sound as my SMS signal on my cellphone. It got my mother flying when I got an SMS from one of my friends.
You certainly captured the moment. I will have to use headphones to listen to this lovers' quarrel henceforth because my male cat's ego just suffered in empathy.
