Recorded while walking from Tot Ct Rd tube station to Prince Edward Theatre, Old Compton St. Thurs 19 Jan 06. Sony MZ-N10 MD and ECM-MS907 stereo mic. Apologies for the 4-letter word at 3m06 - all part of the ambiance I suppose.

Glad you're all enjoying it. For me, the surprising thing about this recording was that my wife managed to keep fairly quiet for 8 minutes!

ditto. you have no idea how hard it is to find a decent cityscape ambiance that doesn't clip, have a person's own footsteps or too much nearby conversation for free

Brilliant file!
Jumping through the complicated registration hoops here and re-trying to find the file really irked me, but in the end it was worth it just to get your file because it's basically perfect.
