Worldwide HF radio beacons. Recorded 21 Nov 1999 at 18:10 GMT in Sussex UK. The Morse code identities of the following stations can be heard (time into clip mins:secs): ZS6DN (South Africa, at 0:05) CS3B (Madeira, at 0:45) LU4AA (Argentina, at 0:55) OA4B (Peru, at 1:05) 4U1UN (New York City, at 1:25) W6WX (California, at 1:45). These stations transmit in a 3-minute cycle. Each transmission gives the Morse identity, then 4 short carriers transmitted at 100W, 10W, 1W, and 0.1W. They are used to measure worldwide HF radio conditions. This recording was made, I think, on 21.150 MHz. For more info on HF beacons see http://www.ncdxf.org/Beacon/BeaconSchedule.html

Hi people,
The sound is great, but can I ask you how did u manage to download it? For some reasons it keeps opening it in a quick time instead of ask to save a file.Any idea?
Thank you.
