To capture this sound I have taped a dry bag with recorder outside of the window and the microphones were pointed at the upper branches of a tree. I have applied an EQ with a -6dB low shelf filter at 120Hz to lower the volume of the rumbling parts of distant traffic. The sound was recorded at 24bit/96kHz with Sony PCM-A10 and Lom Usi microphones.
