A recording of a Fairlight Computer Musical Instrument powering on, running and then powering off.

The Farilight is from the mid 80's I believe, hence why it's so loud. I tried to get the microphones as close in there as possible to really get the mechanical feel of the computer. I think there's lots of potential for this sound. Filter it like crazy to get some nice tones out of it! Slow it down and you've got the internal hum of an airplane. Be creative! <3

Again, I have this recording in B-format too. If anybody wants that to play with, let me know!
