Ocean waves crash onto exposed coral reef with some surrounding sand. The ocean roars in the background with multiple waves crashing onto land and into themselves. A slight wind can be heard, but the heavy wind was mostly avoided thanks to a small cliff alcove and my own body to shield against any oncoming gusts. The recording was taken around 10m away from the wave crashes.
This is my recording of nature's sounds, which I believe should be accessible to all and have therefore dedicated it to the public domain. I have marked it as Creative Commons 0. Feel free to attribute me, but it's not required. Enjoy!
Recordist Note:
*Sorry for any unisolated sounds, It was a field recording in an uncontrolled environment.
*I have trimmed out any extreme wind noise, and have tested and confirmed that all other wind noise can be taken down with Parametric EQ! For the sake of versatility and quality, I have kept it unedited.
Recorded February 20th, 2025. On a TASCAM Portacapture X6 (XY pattern, Field Record preset, Radius Deadcat applied) with no post-processing. Only trimming.
