An antique Underwood No. 11 typewriter, ca. 1925.
Sound was recorded on a Zoom H4 in a sound booth. However, it didn't have a bell or a platen, so the key is hitting the platen of another typewriter from the 1970s.
Audio cleaned up in Audacity.
