some have varying degrees of de-essing, (reducing the amplitude of the orangey bits in comparison with the rest of the waveform), this effect is sometimes not audible on this freesound preview, but is detectable when the sound is downloaded.

For certain samples, I am not able to tell the difference between the repeated versions? For instance, one is stereo, one is eqd to let the highs pass through more, and one has got the reverb. The other ones - are they simply different types of reverbs or just a tweaking of the wet/dry setting?
