The 'Dustmites Chorale' pack from my 'Symbiotes' sampler is based on sounds in which the dominant feature is some form of surface noise, digital glitch, or tape hiss - so, taking those elements we try to remove from studio recordings as our starting point.
This excerpt is a nice little etude pairing different types of mild noise: the more "up-front" variety is pulsar synthesis courtesy of a Hieroglyphic Plume module, and underneath there is a current of pink noise. Some random FM'd wavelets seem to pop up in the mix also.
