The 'Dustmites Chorale' pack from my 'Symbiotes' sampler is based on sounds in which the dominant feature is some form of surface noise, digital glitch, or tape hiss - so, taking those elements we try to remove from studio recordings as our starting point.
This excerpt originates with ZOOM H2N recordings of an amusing plastic toy (Limpskys "Pop Tube Dog" for those keeping score). This is then processed into oblivion: fed into a MakeNoise Morphagene module with the 'gene size' setting randomized, and given a touch of simple delay to top it off.
