The 'Dustmites Chorale' pack from my 'Symbiotes' sampler is based on sounds in which the dominant feature is some form of surface noise, digital glitch, or tape hiss - so, taking those elements we try to remove from studio recordings as our starting point.
This is based on a ZOOM H2N recording of popped bubble / plastic wrap, which is juxtaposed with another kind of synthetic 'bubbling': randomized harmonics run through resonant band-pass filter.
