From a pack of samples focusing on ‘concrete’ and acousmatic technique (tape manipulation, synthetic processing of natural sounds, extension of “traditional” instruments’ timbral range via electronics).
This excerpt is another pairing of a couple digital elements I have found extremely useful for the creation of alien creature voices: Dillon Bastan's Vector Grain synthesizer and Unfiltered Audio's Silo VST for a secondary level of granulation. Whatever the original sound source was prior to granularization, I have no idea - it is processed beyond recognition now!
