Like my other digging sounds this wasn't recorded outside, it was recorded inside using a big bucket filled with sand, I then used a massive salad server to recreate the digging sound for a much softer, less harsh digging sound. It was recorded with a Zoom H6 handheld audio recorder. The purpose of this sound is to be used as a sound to be used in conjunction with other sounds to create the perfect digging scene.
