Sound was picked up by a contact mic clamped to the plastic box and put through a small amplifier.Mostly plucked sounds, but also some oddities in there where I have used pens or similar objects to scrape, and hit the elastic.”

Tom says: A simple additive synthesis resonant trumpet patch heavily effected with LFO synched to sampled trumpet breath. Sounds best played in the trumpet’s natural range, the upper middle of the keyboard. Fun, quirky, with a nasal quality. I love 88520__alienxxx__plucked-13-3 by Alienxxx that I used for resonance and I hope to do some granular synth sounds with edited hits from this recording one day - soon.
