The croaking sound of a frog was created by drawing a wooden stick over a wooden frog's textured back. Recorded in mono with a ZOOM H6 handheld recorder, equipped with a Rode NTG5 rifle microphone mounted on a Rode boom pole. Handling noises were eliminated, and unnecessary audio at the recording's start and finish was removed for a clean, pristine sound. This recording is ideal for adding authentic wooden frog ornament sounds to a wide range of audio-visual projects such as travelling programs as the ornament’s origin is Bangkok, as well as nature documentaries. Recorded at the Grotto at Open Window.
