The recorded sound of the Tibetan Singing Bowl captures its ethereal resonance and harmonic overtones, produced by striking or rubbing the bowl's rim. Recorded in mono with a ZOOM H6 handheld recorder, equipped with a Rode NTG5 rifle microphone mounted on a Rode boom pole. Handling noises were eliminated, and unnecessary audio at the recording's start and finish was meticulously removed for a clean, pristine sound. This sound can be used to evoke a sense of tranquillity and mindfulness in meditation scenes, as a unique auditory backdrop for spiritual or mystical moments, or to introduce a serene and contemplative ambience in various film and sound projects.
Recorded in the Grotto at Open Window.
