Shots of different loads of shotgun cartridges were fired from a 12G SPAS12 shotgun. The cartridges used were in the order of Nr7, Nr5, AAA, and, LG. Recorded in mono using a ZOOM H6 recorder equipped with a Rode NTG5 rifle microphone mounted on a Rode boom pole. Post-production efforts included the removal of unwanted trailing and leading sounds, as well as the application of compression to prevent clipping (Reacomp). The resulting audio is ideal for enhancing the auditory experience in films or any other media project that requires realistic handgun shots. This recording was made at the Waterval Shooting Range.
