Newspaper was ripped at different speeds and intensities. Recorded in mono with a ZOOM H6 handheld recorder, equipped with a Rode NTG5 rifle microphone mounted on a Rode boom pole. Microphone handling noises were removed and compression was added to remove clipping (Reacomp). This recording is suitable for adding sound effects to various types of footage, including actions like tearing paper, opening envelopes, or rustling through newspapers. Recorded in the Grotto at Open Window.
