Pouring a small amount of hot water into an empty hot frying pan. The water boils instantly, then the sound stops as the pan boils dry.
A second far larger quantity of water is poured in, this time until the pan goes off the boil.
Recorded with a Zoom H4n using the inbuilt microphones.

Love it. I will use it for a cooking video in a flambé scene. I practically did foley sfx for the entire video but since its late and I need to have it done by tomorrow this helped me out quickly and good.
