Used again, as much because I LIKE the excellence of the sound effect, as because I actually needed it. This time around, the sound effect is being heard over the speakers of a small communications system, so there are some filters involved in the effect, but it still comes through so very clearly. (You might also say that this effect works for SFX for firing inside a room, as well as SFX for a small speaker playing the same sound in the same room. Does that make sense? I need coffee.)

This is a beautifully crafted sound effect. It was perfect for what I needed for a short portion of an audio roleplay project I've just completed, wherein I did some splicing and editing of the sound effect to create a sequence of two quick shots in succession, followed after a short pause by a third. I especially appreciated the subtle added detail of the metal casing landing on the ground, which also added to the overall effect I was going for.
