17 March 2010 - 22:55 - On Paddy's Day, a bunch of friends and I went out for a meal in Dublin city centre. I switched on the recorder after the meal was finished and most of our friends had departed. This is us totting up the final bill. Recorded with a Zoom H4n with its foam windscreen and my hand-made purple fluffball windscreen, mounted on a gooseneck boom acoustically insulated with poly-rubber foam.

Hahahah! Indeed, just as you say, I'd feel terrible if I put anybody off their food, so I waited til the end. I never had the stuff on the table, I was actually standing at the end of the table holding the boom before leaving the restaurant. I hadn't intended to get this, I was intending to get Paddy's Day ambience from outside. But this was an unexpected gem, so I shared it for multiple enjoymentness. :)
