Believe it or not I was actually stabbing a rotten log. I am sorry about the background noise. I will try to record another sound like this but in a quieter environment. Thanks for the feedback!

Awesome sounds! but the background noise kinda ruins it, Which is a real shame...
It's loud enough that using noise reduction would almost certainly cause artifacts, too.
I'm guessing you were stabbing a fruit or vegetable, probably something with a tough outer skin like a pumpkin or melon, and I understand how messy that can be, but if you can, it would be awesome if you could record indoors with the windows closed and hopefully late at night.
You can use plastic tarp or even large garbage bags in layers and that will catch 95% of it.

I know it's allot to ask though :-) especially if you don't live alone, but if you ever feel like rerecording it...
