Foxes scream for a variety of reasons, but primarily they scream to communicate to other foxes. If I had to guess it was screaming to get another fox's attention as urban foxes and wild foxes have different behaviors. Urban foxes tend to be less afraid of humans, so its unlikely a warning to another fox. So its probably a mating call or it trying to get another foxes attention. Cute and super intelligent, I read that three letter word and even though I was looking for horrifying sounds this one brought me joy.
