This is a reversed sample of a ride cymbal recorded with Rode NTG-1 to a Roland UA-1G sound interface through a Yamaha MG-102C mixer. Wiring is silver-plated copper shielded (twisted pair for the microphone). Recording was done with REAPER 3.65 with 96 KHz/32-bit processing (the DAC/ADC itself is 96 KHz/24-bit linear).

It's a regular General MIDI reverse cymbal, works with no unity note in any sampler, just set it to never pitch-shift.
