This is a recording of a drawing pin being inserted into a pinboard. This was recorded extremely close to the sound source resulting in a moderately hard impact sound. This was recorded on Zoom H6 Handy Recorder with XYH-6 Adjustable Stereo Microphone Capsule. The sound was post-processed with an EQ in REAPER (DAW) in order to cut the high frequencies so that the sound emulates the lower frequencies that it produces. The purpose of this recording is for the expansion of the Open Window sound library.
