A heart monitor with 795 hz blips ramping up from 40bpm to 540 then a constant tone.
Trim the tempo you like for your project.
540bpm is a bit high for a heart rate ... but maybe you want that for artistic purposes :)
Add reverb at will.
It can probably be used as a sonar / radar blip too with the right reverb.
