Split waveform test

Warning LOUD.
Trying to split the color of the waveform preview horizontally, top and bottom having a different colors.
By using some DC offset (made with the "Even harmonics" distortion on Audacity.

First test was with a mix of two frequencies, each with a DC offset on opposing phase.
Second test was just a DC offset of one frequency (it worked, transparency on one side, colour on the other)
Third test I re-tried two frequencies, this time I added a square wave tremolo on each. Idea was the DC offset of each would apply a color to top and bottom. And the Tremolo would rapidly switch between each colour/side. Theoretically resulting in a cycle of top blue, bottom red. Then I was hoping on a long sound, it would compress the waveform so that cycling of colors would no longer be visible and just appear as one. Which it did, but not Top blue bottom red, just a mix of both resulting in a yellow ish waveform.

Sound illegal or offensive? Flag it!

Aha, thanks! Now I understand!

I made an experiment to "write in noise".

Take a look at the spectrum view.
I know there are programs that can generate portraits i noise, but I made this with Audacity.

Thanks!
I updated the description.
What I mean is one can change the color of the waveform, and have different colours one after the other. So "vertical" separation, left-right will have different colours.

I'm attempting to have horizontal split / separation. So top / bottom will display two colours on the full length of the recording.
For example, to make the Ukrainian flag :)

Cheers!

Love your latest uploads. Experiment like this are fun. I admit that your idea to "split the color of the waveform preview in two horizontal lines" is a little har to understand... But I'm trying :-)
