Recently had a look at the most downloaded sounds on Freesound, and remaking my own versions. Noticeably for the onces that weren't CC0.
Intending to re-do a digital alarm clock sound, I generated a 884 hz square wave on Audacity and sampled it though my Pocket Operator PO-33 to crunchy lo-fi it.
Played at half speed.
I then recorded it from the loudspeaker using a zoom h2n's Mono mic mode.
Made and recorded on the 2025 05 12.
Using a PO-33 and Zoom H2n.
Trimmed and Normalized in Audacity.
Attribution is greatly appreciated but not required. Recommendation : X sound by Sadiquecat on Freesound.org in CC0 licence.
Hope you enjoy :)
PS: Id love to hear how you use this sound, feel free to link your creations or share how/why you listen to this :)
