The loud cricket sound you did hear is from a bird called the Common Grasshopper Warbler.
The sound of the old squeaking bicycle pump comes from a bird called Great Tit
Hardware : Zoom Hn2 in "ambisonic" mode. Used a "deadcat" like wind muffler. (not the foam thing)
Processing : Trim, denoise, EQ, normalization on Audacity exported in either stereo or mono.
